Research into the effects of concussions on cognitive processes at Washington College involves both human and animal research groups. Here are some pictures of the human side. These students presented their work at the 117th meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association in NYC.
Six seniors from Washington College participated in the World Model United Nations, held in this spring at the Hague, Netherlands. Five of the students represented Tanzania in three different committees (SPECPOL, WHO and DISEC) and one student represented Chinese propagandist Chen Boda in a simulation of the Chinese Politburo from 1969. Students spent the week debating, writing draft resolutions and making allies, enemies and regional blocs (but only in committee. Everyone was very friendly once session closed for the day).
