The Washington College community relaxed and had some fun on Advising Day as Residential Life and the Student Government Association hosted the third annual Spring Fling, a traditional carnival event.
As part of the Spring Advising Day tradition, Residential Life hosted Spring Fling on April 3 on the Campus Green. Students—as well as faculty and staff and their families—enjoyed carnival games, prizes, inflatable activities, tye-dying, cotton candy, and many other interesting activities.
Student leaders including Peer Mentors, Resident Assistants, and Student Government gathered at the Hynson-Ringgold House for a welcome dinner. Spirits were high despite the morning’s earthquake.
The Residence Life staff and Student Government Association celebrated the change of seasons at the second annual Spring Fling Luau on the campus green.
