Constantine Finehouse (piano) and Philip Ficsor (violin)

The opening concert of the Kent Chamber Music concert series presents Constantine Finehouse (piano) and Philip Ficsor (violin).

The Kent Chamber Music series is excited that The American Double will start its year at our new location. While their CD’s have received rave reviews, and they have performed both in the states and in Europe,  you can hear them in person. These virtuoso musicians will play for us on Saturday October 19 at 7 PM. They have selected works from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The selections include two dazzling sonatas, one by Beethoven and the other by Brahms. In addition we will hear a unique piece by Bolcom: Graceful Ghost Rag-concert variation.

Constantine  Finehouse (piano) and Philip Ficsor (violin)  have won high accolades for their musicianship. They have performed in many venues but we do not have travel far to hear them. They will bring their gift of music to us here at Washington College. They both love music with a passion that is very evident in their performances.

Kent Chamber Music is bringing this group to the wonderful setting of Hotchkiss Hall at Washington  College. Details can be found at our website:   http://www.kentchambermusic.com/.

Plan to join other music lovers as the American Double Duo performs this great music with the beautiful acoustics of the Hotchkiss Hall. You will sit only a few feet from the performers and you will hear every note. After the performance,  we will have the opportunity to meet these talented musicians and discuss music with other music lovers who are in attendance.  We meet in friendship and share our mutual joy of music. Tickets are $15 at the door. A full subscription of 6 concerts is only $75.   For further information, please  call  : 410-810-1834.
