Now in it’s 7th year, the Waterfront Festival is always a highlight of Fall Family Weekend at Washington College. Have you ever raced with the rowing club, sailed on schooner Sultana, kayaked around Eastern Neck, or toodled up the Chester River on a powerboat? Now it’s time to captain your own cardboard craft. The Cardboard Boat Regatta is the signature event of Washington College’s Waterfront Festival, which takes place in Wilmer Park on September 21st from 12-4 p.m. This year’s Waterfront Festival features: local fish fry & funnel cake, pit beef, ice cream, Waterman Exhibit, pony rides, Scales & Tales, Fish Mobile, model boat pond, and live music by the Michael Butler Band.
The Waterfront Festival is free and open to the public. For more information or to register your cardboard boat contact Kathy Thornton firstname.lastname@example.org or (410) 810-7162.
