Author Jim Sterba seeks to describe the backyard tension emerging between humans and wild animals in his recent book Nature Wars. Sterba discusses the disassociation from the natural world that became prevalent the baby boomer generation and continues in subsequent generations and the effects that it has on how we interact with the animals in our own back yards. There will be a book signing and a reception following the lecture in the Literary House. This lecture is sponsored by the Center for Environment & Society.
