Penn State professor Jerry Zolten is an educator, writer, producer, musician … and fanatic collector of rare records. He is the author of the award-winning book, Great God A’Mighty!, The Dixie Hummingbirds: Celebrating the Rise of Soul Gospel Music (Oxford University Press), as well as contributor to The Cambridge Companion to the Beatles (Cambridge University Press) and co-editor of Bruce Springsteen, Cultural Studies, and the Runaway American Dream (Ashgate).
