    As part of its FREE 12@Hothkiss Series, the Washington College Concert Series will present a recital by faculty members of the Washington College Department of Music.

  • 12:00pm: Raphael Fusco
    As part of its FREE 12@Hothkiss Series, the Washington College Department of Music will present a concert featuring the music of composer Raphael Fusco.

April 6th, 2014

  • 2:30pm: Beyond the Line of Blue
    As part of its 2013-2014 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series present Beyond the Line of Blue featuring tenor Christopher Swanson, the Anderson/Fader Guitar Duo, and Damon Ferrante in Decker Theater.

April 11th, 2014

  • 7:30pm: Senior Recital: Zhenkun Yang (piano) & Conor Howlett (bassoon)
    The Music Department presents a joint senior recital featuring Zhenkun Yang on piano and Conor Howlett on bassoon. The recital is offered as part of the Senior Capstone (SCE) projects for both Zhenkun and Conor. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.

  • 7:30pm: Chamber Music & Symphonic Band
    The Department of Music presents a concert featuring the Woodwind Ensemble and Brass Ensemble (Directed by Jon McCollum), the Saxophone Quartet (Directed by Phyllis Crossen-Richardson), and the WC Symphonic Band (Directed by Keith Wharton). The Event is FREE and open to the public.

  • 7:30pm: Steel Band & Jazz Ensemble
    The Department of Music presents in concert, the WC Steel Band Ensemble (Steel Revolution, directed by John Leupold) and the WC Jazz Ensemble (Directed by Kenneth Schweitzer). The Event is FREE and open to the public.

May 1st, 2014

  • 7:30pm: WC Chorus & WC String Orchestra
    The Department of Music presents a joint concert of the W.C. Chorus (directed by Doug Byerly) & the W.C. String Orchestra (directed by Kimberly McCollum). Program will include Karl Jenkins’s Requiem, featuring WC Professor Jonathan McCollum on the Shakuhachi. Admission is $10 (adults) and $5 (WC faculty & Staff / non-WC College Students / Seniors over age 65). WC students and youth 18 and under are free.
