How to transfer courses
Students sometimes wish to pursue summer courses in order to fulfill their language requirement. If this is the case, please follow the steps below.
- Identify a course that you would like to take and send the link of the course and course description to the chair of the Modern Languages Dept, Professor Maynard, firstname.lastname@example.org.
- She will send an email back to you accepting (or not) the course.
3. Complete this form:
Stop by Professor Maynard’s office (GLDS 217, Office hours, Mon. 2:30-4:00/Wed. 11:30-12:30) to have the form signed. If she is not in her office, but she has already approved the course via email, you can leave the unsigned form in the plastic box next to her office door. She will send you an email to let you know it has been signed.
4. Turn in the form to the Registrar’s Office.
5. Once you have completed the course, have an official transcript of the course sent from that institution to the Washington College Registrar’s office.
Please note that our department does not accept online courses.
