Dora Malech is the author of two poetry collections, Say So (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2011) and Shore Ordered Ocean (Waywiser Press, 2009). Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, Best New Poets, American Letters & Commentary, and Poetry London, among other publications. She has been the recipient of fellowships and awards that include a Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship, a Writer's Fellowship at the Civitella Ranieri Center in Italy, and a Glenn Schaeffer Poetry Award. She earned a BA in Fine Arts from Yale University and an MFA in Poetry from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. She lives in Iowa City.
