Dance Company
Open, by audition, to all students, the Company performs in public and private schools, and at the Maryland State Dance Festival. Performances include Fall Family Day on campus, 16th century court dances at the annual Renaissance Christmas Dinner presented in cooperation with the Music Department, a spring dance concert, the Birthday Ball, and off campus sites by invitation.
Dance Club
- Technique classes in ballet, pointe, modern dance, jazz, tap, ballroom dance, lyrical, hip hop, dance conditioning, sassy jazz, and world dance forms
- Field trips to workshops and festivals
- Workshops and master classes by guest teachers/artists
- Lectures, demonstrations, and performances on campus by professional dancers and companies
- Field trips to concerts and performances
