The Department of Art and Art History, and the College as a whole, long benefitted fro
m the friendship and patronage of photographer Constance Stuart Larrabee, who, among other things, gave the lead gift for the Arts Center bearing her name, helped found the Friends of the Arts, and left the Department a large number of her photographs of South AfrIca, WWII and the Eastern Shore.
