Events

Spring, 2013:

  • “Crush” Fundraiser to benefit CASA [Court Appointed Special Advocates]
  • Blood Drive, in coordination with the Red Cross-Blood Bank of Delmarva
  • Valentine’s Dance at Heron Point
  • Empty Bowls Benefit Dinner (to benefit the Kent County Food Pantry)
  • Tom’s National One for One- A day of wearing no shoes
  • Mental Health Awareness Week
  • WAC Post Secret
  • The Service Council also will assist with the following events: Dia de Futbol, Walk A Mile in Her Shoes and Casey Time.

 

Fall, 2012:

  • September 11th Remembrance Day
  • Blood Drive, in coordination with the Red Cross-Blood Bank of Delmarva
  • High-Tea at Heron Point
  • Make A Difference Day
  • Cake-Off (cake decorating competition to benefit The Hunger Project)
  • Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 
  • Walking in the Autism Awareness Walk in Washington, DC
  • Volunteering at SOME [So Others May Eat, a soup kitchen in Washington, DC]
