Student Opportunities

The Institute for Religion, Politics and Culture, Washington College launched the Program in Jewish Thought and they also coordinate a winter break course in Israel through a partnership with Hebrew University.

Students interested in Jewish Studies can also apply for the Roy Ans Fellowship or a wide array of internships.

Washington College also works with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel to provide study abroad opportunities.

Since 2011, Ask Big Questions has trained more than 1,000 students, faculty, and staff on more than 75 college campuses, who have in turn engaged more than 35,000 students in intentional, reflective, communal conversations. Learn more about the program »

Hillel Leadership Scholarship

New this year is the Hillel Leadership Scholarship, a $2,500 scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman who demonstrates interest in Jewish life and learning, renewable for four years as long as a committed and fruitful connection with Hillel and a strong academic standing is maintained.
