Habitat for Humanity

Fall Break 2013

We are pleased to announce that the WC Habitat for Humanity Alternative Fall Break Trip will be to Vineland, New Jersey, October 9-12, 2013!  We will leave after classes on Wednesday night and return after dinner on Saturday night.  In between, we will work a three-day workweek with Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity.

To be considered for this trip you must:

Complete the application in its entirety and return it to washcollh4h@gmail.com, by the end of the day, Friday, September 27.

Commit to being alcohol- and drug-free from Wednesday, October 9, until after we return to Chestertown.

Agree to abide by all Washington College and Habitat for Humanity policies during the trip.

Be in good judicial standing with the College.

Be in good academic standing with the Committee on Academic Standing and Advising.  (If you are not, you must obtain written permission from your academic advisor to apply.)

There is a fee of $85, associated with this trip to assist with the costs of food, travel, lodging, entertainment, and registration costs.  If this fee presents an extreme hardship for you, the Habitat club offers scholarship assistance.  Please contact Maria Rose Hynson, at mhynson2@washcoll.edu, for details.
