Class Gift
Bust of George Washington
The plaque on the bust reads:
"George Washington / Benefactor of Washington College / Member of the board of Vistors and Governors 1784-1789 / Honorary Degree Recipient 1789 / A Gift from the Class of 2000 in commemoration of the Bicentennial of George Washington's death December 14, 1799."
The bust has become a landmark on campus with many students and visitors posing for photos with George.
