Friday, May 14, 2010

6:30 - 9:00 pm: 25th Reunion Reception & Dinner Honoring the CLASS OF 1985. Per private invitation mailed to class. For questions contact Alumni Relations Office. Class of 1985 and spouses/guests. Alumni from the Class of 1984 & 1986 also encouraged to attend. Gratis for the members of the Class of 1985 and honored guests. Small fee for all other guests.

9:00 pm: Please join the Friday night festivities which will be a Red Carpet party at the new Hodson Hall. Join all alumni at Andy's revisited. Yes, Andy Goddard '73 (and bartender, Cindy) will be in Hodson Hall's Center Stage in a re-created version of the original Andy's. For a modest cover charge you can enjoy beer and wine, light bar food and music by several of the bands who used to play at Andy's. We promise it will be unique and fun. You won't want to miss it.

10:00 am: Continental Breakfast, President's talk. Hynson Lounge

11:45am - 12:15 pm: Presentation of all Reunion class Gifts. Each Reunion class will present their Class Gift to the College. We will join all alumni in singing the alma mater. Don't know the alma mater? Soon we will have the alma mater on line for those of us who never learned it to take a stab at it.

Noon - 2:00 pm: All Campus picnic. 25th Reunion Class Photo taken (approximately 1:20 pm). You will have tables marked for your class at the picnic.

2:00 - 6:00 pm: there are many activities planned for the afternoon, including a poetry reading at the Lit House, boat rides from the dock, an open house with beer tasting at the Alumni House (where you can watch the Preakness).

6:15 pm: All Reunion Dinner in the new Hodson Hall, featuring crab cakes and prime rib among many other delicious options.

7:15 pm: Alumni drama presentations. Gibson Center for the Arts

8:30 pm: Fireworks: Celebrating the 50th, 25th and all Reunion class as well as Commencement for the Class of 2010. Fireworks can be viewed from anywhere on campus. Due to safety regulations, the stadium will be closed.

9:00 pm: Encore Alumni Musicians Showcase: Martha Washington Square (weather permitting) Welcome back your favorite college bands from the 60s through today as they reunite on the WC stage once again.

10:15 am: 25th Reunion Class of 1985 Process with graduating seniors at Commencement 2010. You will have a 25th Reunion banner to carry in the procession. Line up in front of Dunning Hall by 10:15.
