Carolyn Choate-Turnbull competed in the 20th annual Danskin Women's Triathlon in Webster, MA, to raise $10,000 for her charity, the Breast Cancer Education Initiative for Low-Income and Minority Women. Carolyn began the program after a diagnosis of Stage IIIB breast cancer in 2003, when she was given three years to live; she has been in remission for more than six years. Carolyn has two teenage daughters and lives in Nashua, NH.
