Summer Poetry Salons
Founded in July 2012, the Summer Poetry Salons at The Rose O’Neill Literary House are evenings of literature, music, food, drink, and good conversation. Poets are paired with musicians for a night of lively entertainment. The aim of the Poetry Salon is to bring together members of the Washington College community, residents of Chestertown and of the Eastern Shore, and a mix of local and nationally recognized artists, such as the Pam Ortiz Band and poet/memoirist Sandra Beasley.
In 2013, our Summer Poetry Salons will include readings by Michelle Chan Brown, Ryan Teitman, Steve Kistulentz, and Elana Bell.
All of our Summer Poetry Salons are free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Director Jehanne Dubrow.
