The Literary House Press Goes to Washington
Date: 7:00pm EDT October 29
The Literary House Press hosts a second book launch event for The Book of Scented Things in Washington DC!
Join us for a poetry reading and book signing as the Literary House Press debuts its first trade paperback, an anthology of brand-new poems from 100 American poets called The Book of Scented Things: 100 Contemporary Poems about Perfume at the Arts Club of Washington!
Contributors James Arthur, Michelle Chan Brown, Leslie Harrison, and Shara Lessley will read their poems from the anthology and their favorite pieces from other poets in the book; and contributor Sandra Beasley will moderate a discussion about the making of the collection with editors Jehanne Dubrow and Lindsay Lusby.
The reading will be followed by a book sale and signing, and a special “olfactorum” presentation by the Chanel representatives of Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as a Literary House Press-sponsored raffle drawing for the chance to win a bottle of Chanel No. 19! There will be free non-alcoholic refreshments and a cash bar.
