Koppany is a sophomore who is a Economics and Political Science double major, with a minor in Religion and a concentration in Near Eastern Studies from Northampton, PA. He is also active in Hillel, Campus Christians, and language clubs. Koppany’s interest in GIS comes from his interest in economic development and how one can open startup businesses. Additionally, he enjoys the law aspect of politics and studies how the law is implemented on state and local levels. This is his first year working at the WC GIS Lab and is a GIS Apprentice. Working in the crime division, he has done work in Welcome Wagon, data analysis and other items. Going abroad for his junior year, he plans to return to the lab to continue to use his skills and enhance them.
