President's Leadership Council
Founded in October 2006, the Washington College President’s Leadership Council (PLC) is composed of prominent volunteer leaders who wish to become knowledgeable advocates for the institution. Members assist the President of the College with advice, counsel, and customized assistance on matters affecting the general vitality of the College and its long term financial strength. PLC members come from a wide range of occupations, including CEOs, philanthropic leaders, non-profit board members, local community members and entrepreneurs.
In recent years, council members have reached out to engage current students in dialogues on the role of leadership in careers. This outreach has provided positive feedback to the PLC on student experiences and provided valuable networking opportunities for students. The council looks forward to engaging the student body in other meaningful ways.
