Most of the official communication from the Office of Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Aid is sent via e-mail. All applicants are responsible for providing the Admissions Office with an active e-mail address and are encouraged to review all e-mails received from WC on a timely basis.
Campus Visits
In many cases, qualified applicants who visit WC, either for an interview, an admissions open house, or an athletic team recruit visit, are processed and admitted before qualified non-visitors. U.S. residents who live beyond a day's drive from WC are strongly advised to contact their admission counselor and schedule a telephone interview.
Standardized Tests
An 'SAT/ACT Optional' policy was adopted in 2008. We recommend that all applicants interested in a 'score optional' review submit our 'score optional' form.
Senior Grades
First marking period grades are an essential part of our review process. If your school does not issue first marking period transcripts, then please make a copy of the first senior year assessment sent to your home and mail or fax it to the Admissions Office. Also, please have your mid-year grade report sent to WC when it becomes available.
Admission Decisions
Early Decision applicants will be notified of their status on or before December 15. Early Action applicants will be notified on or before January 15. Regular Decision applicants will be notified on or after January 16. In all cases, the file completion date will determine the eventual notification date.

Note: The Early Decision option applies only to first-time freshman applicants.
Enrollment Deposits
Admitted Early Decision applicants are required to remit a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $500.00; the deposit must be received by January 15.
Early Action and Regular Decision applicants are required to remit a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $500.00 by May 1.
Merit-Based Scholarship Awards
Although test scores are optional in the admissions process, they are required for merit-based scholarship consideration. Admitted applicants who qualify for a merit-based scholarship are notified of their award at the time of their admission. Questions regarding merit-based scholarships should be directed to your admissions counselor.
Need-Based Financial Aid
All applicants will be sent information regarding the need-based aid application process. Questions regarding need-based financial aid should be directed to your financial aid counselor:
