Learn more about the requirements and checklist items you need as an international student interested in attending Washington College.
Students are admitted to WC on the basis of scholastic achievement, personal characteristics and overall potential for success in a collegiate environment.
Checklist
To ensure a thorough review of your application for admission to WC, make sure we have the following items:
- Records of academic progress
- $55 application fee
- TOEFL exam report (see below)
- Teacher recommendation
- Personal essay
TOEFL
International applicants who are non-native speakers of English must present a TOEFL score of at least 550 (79 internet-based score). For information about the TOEFL exam, test dates, and test sites visit the TOEFL website.
Note: We also accept scores of 6.5 or better from the IELTS exam.
