Next Steps

1. Learn more about your area(s) of study

Get all the details you need to pursue your career goals. Check out our Academic Programs pages and take a look at WC’s academic resources and support services. 

2. Register for Campus Housing

All first-year students should plan to live on campus (unless you have a short commute or other circumstance). 

By June 1, secure your space on campus by submitting a $200 housing deposit (pay online option). Plan to complete all the forms listed on the New Student Residential Life page.

3. Get in touch with your doctor

Your campus health form is due July 15 - and you need a signature from your doctor! Why not get this piece out of the way now?

Reminder that we also need to know about your insurance plans - you have to elect NOT to be on the WC insurance plan. Detailed instructions are on the Health Services page.

Our Top 3 Questions

  • When should I apply?

    Early Decision applicants have an application deadline of November 15. Early Action applicants have a deadline of December 1, and Regular Admission applicants should apply by February 15. Admission decisions are issued bi-weekly from mid-October through the end of March.

  • Is an interview required?

    Interviews are strongly recommended and, in some cased, specifically required. Qualified applicants who have interviewed may be given preference over qualified applicants who have not interviewed.

  • How many applicants are accepted?

    Approximately 55 percent of all applicants are offered admission; approximately 20 percent of these students enroll. On average, our applicants apply to a total of eight colleges (including WC) and are admitted to six.
