Douglass Cater Society of Junior Fellows

The Cater Society is the College’s flagship academic enrichment program—one that rewards creativity, initiative and intellectual curiosity with competitive grants to support self-directed undergraduate research and scholarship anywhere in the world.

A Companionship of Learning

When the late College President Douglass Cater first established the Cater Society, his intent was to bring together the best and brightest students in “a companionship of learning.” Membership is offered to students who achieve academic distinction.

Junior Fellows grants are highly competitive. If you are interested in how you might become a Junior Fellow, please contact Austin Lobo, the program curator or visit the CSJF site.
