Institutions like Washington College are incubators for a robust civil society. Given our history and enduring mission to develop thoughtful and engaged citizen leaders practiced in the art of civic engagement, Washington College has a particularly important voice in this dialogue.
With these words, Emily Chamlee-Wright introduced herself to the faculty of Washington College. In her first year as Provost and Dean of Washington College, Chamlee-Wright is undertaking a curriculum review and examining the first-year experience.
She comes to Washington College’s Office of the Provost and Dean from Beloit College in Wisconsin, where she was Associate Dean and professor of economics.
