Here’s what to do before you arrive in August!

Summer To Do List

Complete the Placement Tests

All new students must take the mathematics placement exam and the foreign language placement exam. The foreign language placement exam begins with a questionnaire; answer the questions and it will indicate whether or not you need to take the exam. The mathematics placement exam has two parts. Read the directions carefully to determine whether you need to take the second part.

Directions for taking the placement exams are also enclosed in Dean DiQuinzio’s letter.  Please take the placement exams between May 2 – June 15.

You will not be allowed to register for Fall 2016 classes at Summer Advising unless you have taken the math placement exam and either taken the foreign language placement exam or indicated on the survey why you qualify for not taking it

Register for Classes!

You will register for classes at Summer Advising.

If you missed Summer Advising Day, you need to register for classes. Registration can be handled either in person or over the phone with Dean Patrice DiQuinzio or Registrar Ashley Turlington any time after June 27. You will also attend a make-up Summer Advising session on August 24 that will cover the information from the sessions given in June. You can contact the Provost’s Office at 410-778-7206 to make a phone or in-person appointment with Dean DiQuinzio or Registrar Turlington.
