Arrival and Check-in Information
Pre-Orientation programs begin on Saturday, August 22nd and end on Wednesday evening, August 26th.
Students participating in Pre-Orientation will check-in on Saturday, August 22nd from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Casey Academic Center.
Students will move into their permanently assigned residence hall room after checking in. Students are encouraged to plan accordingly for the amount of time they will need to move their belongings into their new room.
All students will remain on campus until the start of New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 27th.
Welcome Session and Dinner
A mandatory Welcome Session for students will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd in Decker Theater. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the session with their student.
Directly following the Welcome Session, students, parents, and families are invited to attend a Welcome Dinner in the Hodson Dinning Hall. The meal includes hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, cole slaw, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, assorted cookies, and watermelon.
Tickets for the dinner are $13.00 for adults and $8.00 for children 12 and under, and may be purchased online through Eventbrite. Tickets will be available for purchase on July 15, 2015 when students receive their placement notification.
Please note: You do NOT need to purchase a ticket for students participating in the pre-orientation program.
