Sassafras Hall is a three-story, co-ed building providing housing to students of all years. It contains both full suites (which have a common room) and partial suites (which do not have a common room). There are a lounge, kitchenette, and laundry room on each floor, with a full kitchen on the first floor.
Sassafras Hall was one of the first Residence Halls to utilize “eco-friendly” geothermal heating and cooling, an example of one of the many ongoing campus initiatives to promote an ecologically responsible culture on campus.
